| Our Services > Advanced Wiring Systems |
It's a beautiful home . . . but is it a smart home, keeping pace with today's needs and today's technology ... plus, ready and waiting for future technologies? Time was when wiring for phones and lamps was standard. Then, new high-efficiency elctronics demanded heavy-duty wall sockets and personal computers begged for separate phone lines so as not to miss incoming calls. Today's information/ communication explosion demands a whole new approach.
With our Advanced Wiring Systems, your home could be ready and waiting for future interactive services! And for today's home, just by setting in the required wall outlets, any room in the house can be equipped for whatever function may be wanted today, tomorrow, next year - next millenium!
Our Advanced Wiring Systems (AWS) follow the common high-voltage electrical wiring model whereby services are distributed throughout the home from a central point. In the case of our low-voltage structured wiring designs, that central point is a server that functions very much in the same way as circuit breaker boxes are the starting point for house-wide electrical conduit.
Our AWS server is the incoming station for electronic services such as telephone, cable TV, satellite, etc. The server then distributes these services throughout the home. The AWS server is also the managing system for all low or no-voltage wiring, and may even include such operations as lawn sprinklers, doorbells and other automatic control systems.
What the Client Sees . . .
A single wiring port replaces what would otherwise be a number of different outlets, fixtures, hardware and holes in the wall. Decorative faceplates complement any interior style, and can even be custom ordered in a variety of colors, if desired. We offer a wide choice of styles, starting with some offering only a few taps, such as for a bedroom, or triple plates with provisions for every signal available in the system. Once these ports are in place, rooms can be reconfigured quickly at the server as services are added or changed.
